Running

Finally, I own a pair of black Adrenaline GTS 8

I’ve been waiting for some time for any discount on the black Adrenaline GTS 8, and I am happy to report that today I acquired a pair on sale from Rebel Sport, to upgrade my worn out pair of ruby Adrenaline GTS 6. My new black stability running shoes feel just as comfy and familiar as the retired pair, and look distinctly better than my new black Asics GT2140s. Black is definitely the new orange.

Spring, allergenic rhinitis, and new Asics

Spring is definitely in the air, when my allergies flare up severely. I must stock up on Loratadine (allergy relief pills) for however long it takes and bear endless severe bouts of sneezing, runny nose, eye tearing, nasal congestion, etc.

My new Asics GT2140 black shoes arrived today. Compared to my Asics GT2110 shoes, even though they are both of the same size (9) and width (2E), the new pair fits more snugly and I am able to run faster with them. They fit almost as well as my Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6 (size 9.5), which remain one of my favourite shoes. I am going to be running in the Blackmores Bridge Run and Rebel Sport Run4Fun in a few weeks.

I am trying to enrol in a yoga teacher training course, so I have a new mobile phone number!

Back in runners

I ordered a new pair of Asics runners from FootLocker with an online discount coupon. So it seems that I’m getting serious again about my fitness. I am eating less and drinking green tea. I shall motivate myself to run faster in the Bridge Run. The only issue I have is the niggling pain in my neck and shoulders from injury that I am treating with Voltaren and Ibuprofen.
